Handyman Training
Katekani Community Project in partnership with Tshwane South Tvet College
(Odi Campus)and Department of Social Development (Sustainable livelihoods) are
currently training 11 beneficiaries (9 males & 3 females).
Handyman training
It is a development program that trains participants to perform general maintenance in and around facilities and to erect mortar facilities
Objective
- Handyman seeks to upskill Entrepreneurs in the construction industry
- To equip the community with craft skills
- Seeks to close the gap in Industrial Education
Outcome
Participants to realise the performance of the following
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Bricklaying and Plastering
- General Maintenance
- Care and Handling of Equipment
